In a very special gathering, Wednesday Night Poetry, the longest running consecutive weekly open mic series in the country, convenes at an incredible and iconic space--The East Angel. This offsite reading will be accepting donations to raise money for Los Angeles teen girl and gender-expansive poets who have been impacted by the wildfires. POETS HELPING POETS. Open Mic style. One poem per poet, 3-4 min, any theme. Sign up to read at the link! Come share a poem, stay for community. Doors open at 5:30pm. Poets read 6:30-10:30pm. This is a soft and SAFE SPACE to land. Open to all.
