GURS only accepts electronic abstract submissions via the official abstract submission website.

GURS membership is not required for abstract submission.

Abstract Guidelines

• Word count: 300 words or fewer, excluding title and authors
• Images/Figures: Uploaded images/figures are allowed; each image/figure counts as 100 words
• Required sections: Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusions

Abstracts must be submitted with the following four components:

• Objective
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusions

Presentation Types

Podium, Poster, and Video presentation types will be offered. Every submission will receive full consideration; however, the final determination of presentation type will be made by the Scientific Review Committee.

• Podium Presentation: 6 minutes for presentation, followed by 4 minutes of questions. Abstracts not selected for podium presentation will automatically be considered for poster presentation.
• Poster Presentation: Posters will be selected based on review by the Scientific Review Committee. Accepted posters will be displayed in electronic format for attendee viewing in the exhibit hall.
• Video Presentation: Please submit both an abstract and the video file. The abstract must conform to the guidelines above, and the video must be under 7 minutes to be considered.

Additional Requirements

• No reference should be made in the abstract to the names or institutions of the authors
• Disclosures for all authors and co-authors are required within the submission form, along with institutions, city, state, and country
• All accepted abstracts will be presented for publication consideration in Urology. Final publication decisions are made by the editorial board of Urology

Notification

Announcements of accepted and rejected submissions are planned by the end of July 2026.
