Midwest Chapter's 2025 Trenchless Technology Conference

The Midwest Chapter of NASTT (MSTT) is pleased to present our upcoming One-Day Trenchless Technology Conference, taking place on September 18, 2025, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This event brings together professionals from across the trenchless technology industry for an engaging and educational experience.

Join us for a dynamic program that includes seven (7) hours of technical presentations, industry showcases, and networking opportunities. Designed for engineers, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, municipal officials, and other industry stakeholders, this event will explore current challenges, emerging trends, and proven solutions in the trenchless field.

Main Symposium:

On Thursday, September 18, attend the full-day symposium hosted at the iconic Harley-Davidson Museum in Downtown Milwaukee. The event will feature expert-led sessions and exhibitor displays that showcase innovations and practical applications in trenchless technology throughout the Midwest and beyond.

 KEYNOTE SPEAKER | Kevin Shafer, (MMSD)
Kevin Shafer serves as Executive Director of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD). Kevin’s leadership has brought MMSD recognition as the recipient of almost every major award in the industry, including the 2012 U.S. Water Prize. He currently serves on the boards of The Water Council, The Nature Conservancy-Wisconsin, and US Water Alliance. Kevin served as past president of the National Association of Clean Water Agencies and The Water Environment Research Foundation, past co-chair of The Water Research Foundation, past Board member of the Great Lakes Protection Fund, Mequon Nature Preserve, River Revitalization Foundation, and Discovery World, and a past member of the EPA’s Local Government Advisory Committee. Kevin holds a master’s degree in civil engineering, water resources, from the University of Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois.
