Shell Egg Academy: Advanced Topics, Leadership Development & Networking (IN-PERSON)

 

The 2026 In-Person Shell Egg Academy (SEA) is an advanced egg production and processing education opportunity that focuses on egg quality and egg safety information. We offer a highly interactive experience and unparalled networking with government agencies (USDA-AMS, USDA-ARS, USDA-FSIS, and FDA) as well as academic institutions and other egg companies.

 

2026 SEA offers:

  • Hands-On Learning: Expert presenters, interactive workshops, and more. 
  • Networking: Build deeper connections through face-to-face interactions during sessions, breaks, and special evening events.
  • Immersive Environment: Benefit from focused, distraction-free participation - all at Purdue University in West Lafayette.
  • Swag Bags and Resource Materials: We provide the tools you need to succeed - plus we like to have fun!

In-Person SEA will be held September 1-3 at Beck Agricultural Center at Purdue University. 

  • September 1 - 8 am - 5 pm (includes breakfast and lunch) plus an evening reception & dinner for all participants
  • September 2 - 8 am - 5 pm (includes breakfast and lunch; evening dinner on your own)
  • September 3 - 8 am - Noon (includes breakfast)
