The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) invites the submission of abstracts the bi-annual Symposium, Oral and Poster sessions to be considered for presentation at the WPATH 29th Scientific Symposium to be held at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City in Mexico City, Mexico, November 8-13, 2026

  • Pre-Courses: November 8-9
  • Scientific Symposium: November 10-13.

The WPATH Scientific Symposium is the world’s premier gathering of clinicians, researchers, educators, policymakers, and community leaders dedicated to advancing evidence-based, person-centered transgender health. With interactive plenaries, symposia, oral and poster sessions, workshops, and pre-courses, the 2026 program promises a dynamic exchange of ideas, cutting-edge science, and global collaboration.

To ensure your abstract is considered:

  • Highlight impact. Emphasize the relevance of your work for advancing transgender health.
  • Avoid jargon. Write for a diverse, interdisciplinary audience.
  • Check accuracy. Ensure terminology, statistics, and references are up to date and correct.
