ACCESSIBILITY
NACCHO is committed to providing an outstanding experience for all participants. We strive for full access to the activities of these events based on an awareness of participants' needs and appropriate planning.
Mobility
The Caribe Royale Convention space is all on one level.
If you have mobility concerns you may wish to rent a motorized scooter or wheelchair. The hotel is spread out with multiple buildings. Contact K&M Rentals for Scooters and Wheelchairs either online or by calling 407-363-7388.
Accessible Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are available at all men’s and women’s restrooms located throughout the meeting spaces.
There are seven gender neutral restrooms.
Quiet Room
Need a break? Step away from the busy conference environment to a designated quiet room free from the sounds and activity of the meeting. Check the meeting app for specific room location.
Closed Captioning
Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART) captioning will be displayed on screen in all plenary sessions.
Food Restrictions and Allergies
We ensure that NACCHO events offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free food options. Food stations will have menu labels indicating ingredients and/or accommodations. Please include your food restrictions and specific allergies on your registration form.
Lactation Rooms
NACCHO will have a designated lactation room available throughout the official conference days.
EMT/First Aid
The Resort’s Security Team is trained in handling emergencies such as; CPR, Automated External Defibrillators (AED), First Aid, Disaster Preparedness, and Evacuations. There are Fourteen (14) AEDs located throughout the property.
To reach the Security Operations Center (SOC) from an outside line or cell phone dial 407.238.8489.
The Security Department is staffed 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.
OTHER
Should you require an aide or assistant to help navigate the meeting, please contact NACCHO360Reg@naccho.org to register your personal aide as a complimentary guest.
