Apply to Present at Educating for Careers 2027

We invite you to submit a session proposal for the 2027 Educating for Careers Conference, taking place March 14–16, 2027, at the Sacramento Convention Center.

This annual statewide event is an opportunity to share innovative practices, effective programs, and impactful strategies that support student success in career education.

Notification of Acceptance: February 1, 2027

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking sessions that:

• Highlight high-quality, replicable career education programs

• Offer effective strategies for implementation, collaboration, and innovation

• Engage participants through hands-on, interactive learning

Sample Session Topics:

• Innovative Teaching Methods & Instructional Strategies (Partnership Academies, GSPP, CTEIG, Perkins)
• Technology in CTE, including AI and eSports
• Community College Partnerships & Dual Enrollment
• Student Engagement, Career Counseling & CTSOs
• Work-Based Learning, Internships, Pre-Apprenticeships & Apprenticeships
• Equity & Access for Underserved Populations
• Marketing & Recruitment of CTE Programs
• Middle and Elementary Career Exploration Models
• Cross-Disciplinary Instruction and Linked Learning
• Data-Driven Program Improvement
• Employer & Community Partnerships
