Abstract/Proposal Welcome
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s 2025 PH Professional Network Symposium, “Igniting the PHight: Looking to the Future,” is set for Sept. 18-20 in Seattle.Poster abstracts and breakout session proposals for the 2025 PHPN Symposium are now being accepted. The target audience will be a mixture of new and experienced pulmonary hypertension-treating health care professionals of varying disciplines.
Poster Abstracts: The symposium will feature a poster hall in conjunction with its medical education activities. The PHPN Symposium Committee invites poster abstract submissions in the areas of basic science, clinical science and case studies. Potential topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Diseases and conditions associated with PH.
- Databases and registries.
- Diagnosis, screening and physiologic studies.
- Pediatrics.
- Quality of life.
- Therapeutic strategies.
- Psychosocial considerations/aspects of care.
- Health disparities/social determinants of health.
If your poster abstract is accepted by the PHPN Symposium Committee, you will be invited to present it as a poster during one or more poster hall sessions. Abstract submissions are due by Monday, June 2, 2025.
Session Proposals: The PHPN Symposium Committee is also inviting session proposal submissions to present during breakout sessions at the 2025 PHPN Symposium. Potential topics may include, but are not limited to:
- BMPR-2 pathway and clinical trials.
- CTEPH (WHO Group 4)/multifactorial PH.
- Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET).
- Echocardiogram interpretation.
- Genetics in PH.
- Methamphetamine-associated pulmonary arterial hypertension.
- New clinical trials and research.
- Palliative care.
- Prior authorizations/insurance.
- PH-ILD (WHO Group 3)/lung disease.
- Pregnancy in PH.
- Transitioning medications.
- Transplant (heart and lung).
If your proposal is accepted by the PHPN Symposium Committee, you will be invited to present it during one or more breakout sessions. Session proposals are due by Monday, March 31, 2025.
