ReMA Robin K. Wiener LAKES Award
Presented by the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA)

 

The ReMA Robin K. Wiener LAKES Award recognizes a ReMA leader who has positively impacted their professional and personal communities. This individual is recognized by their peers for fostering knowledge, leading with integrity and consistently striving for excellence while promoting the recycled materials industry. They are role models in their community and profession. They embody the principles of leadership, achievement, knowledge, excellence, and service in all that they do.

The award, established by the ReMA Great Lakes Regional Committee, is presented annually during the Great Lakes Regional, hosted by the ReMA Empire, Michigan, Northern Ohio, Ohio Valley, and Pittsburgh Chapters.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be employed by a ReMA Member Company. Applications from non-ReMA members will not be accepted/considered.
    • Member companies include Processors, Merchants, Traders, Brokers, Domestic Associate, Consumer, Paper Mill, and International categories. Eligibility shall be limited to firms registered with ReMA. Subsidiary firms or any other type of operation not officially listed or registered by ReMA National are not eligible.
    • Member companies must be in good standing with both ReMA National and their local chapter, having fulfilled all dues and assessments.
  1. Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) consecutive years of full-time experience in the recycled materials industry.

Note: The award is only open to current ReMA members. The recipient shall be chosen by the Great Lakes Regional Committee, which may, at its discretion, prioritize one criterion over others in any given year.

To be considered for the award, applicants must follow the instructions below. Only fully completed applications submitted by the deadline will be considered.

  1. Submission Method and Deadline: All applications must be submitted ONLINE by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on July 15, 2025.
  2. Required Application Materials: A completed application and responses to all essay prompts provided.
