Shell Egg Academy: Advanced Topics, Leadership Development & Networking (IN-PERSON)

The 2025 In-Person Shell Egg Academy (SEA) is an advanced egg production and processing education opportunity that focuses on egg quality and egg safety information. We offer a highly interactive experience and unparalled networking with government agencies (USDA-AMS, USDA-ARS, and FDA) as well as academic institutions and other egg companies.

2025 SEA offers:

  • Hands-On Learning: Expert presenters, interactive workshops, and more.
  • Networking: Build deeper connections through face-to-face interactions during sessions, breaks, and special evening events.
  • Immersive Environment: Benefit from focused, distraction-free participation - all at Purdue University in West Lafayette.
  • Swag Bags and Resource Materials: We provide the tools you need to succeed - plus we like to have fun!

In-Person SEA is the ONLY egg industry education event in the U.S. that brings together all three of the regulatory governing bodies to network and learn with egg companies!
In-Person SEA will be held September 9-11 at Beck Agricultural Center at Purdue University. The general schedule is as follows:
