Service Opportunities

Why Attend?
Here's the updated copy with the new bullet for both sections:
Why Should Students Attend the 2025 National Convention
- To network—The convention will host brothers from all over the country, creating opportunities for student brothers to connect with other students and alumni who have shared interests.
- To learn—National Convention will feature 20+ learning labs where brothers can develop skills that can be applied to chapter operations and personal development. Additionally, the convention will feature content explaining how to translate your APO skills into professional settings.
- To have a role in advancing the fraternity forward—As part of the National Convention, we will elect the next set of leaders to guide the fraternity into our second century. We will also consider legislation focused on modernizing our operations.
- To celebrate our past and future—This convention is all about celebration. We will honor the work we have done over the past 100 years and look forward to continuing that work in the future. Through discussions, parties, time capsules, and more, we will celebrate together.
- To serve—Convention will offer opportunities to serve in all fields of service (to the campus through development that furthers your chapter, to the community through projects that give back to Philly, to the nation through projects that support the country and those in need, and to the fraternity by helping execute this event).
- To avoid missing out—The National Convention showcases the true reach of the Fraternity beyond your campus, demonstrated at scale during this 100th anniversary celebration. From events to swag to experiences, this is something you don't want to miss.
- To be a part of APO History—Fifty years from now, will APO members know your role or impact on the Fraternity? Maybe, maybe not. But they will know that you were part of the 100th Celebration. Through opportunities for messaging your future brothers, to leaving them something memorable in our time capsule, attendees will have a chance to make their mark on APO's legacy.
- To share in brotherly love—Most importantly, there will be numerous opportunities to share in fellowship and love with brothers from all over the country, from local events in Philly to the largest iteration of the Toast Song to various fellowship events throughout the convention.
Why Should Alumni Attend the 2025 National Convention
- To connect (or reconnect)—Convention is an opportunity to see brothers you haven't seen and meet new ones. Whether you're a long-standing volunteer or an alumnus looking to rekindle the spark, we are including programming across all aspects of the alumni journey.
- To give back and pay it forward—We will emphasize networking opportunities for active brothers and encourage alumni to share their professional stories and experiences.
