Thank you for your interest in submitting a session proposal for our 2027 CA Arts & Culture Summit.
Our 2027 CA Arts & Culture Summit will take place on April 28-30, 2027, in Sacramento, CA. Please do not submit if you are not able to commit to in-person participation as a presenter on April 29, which will be the main breakout session day.
Max Time Allotment: 60 Minutes
Presenters: You are allowed a maximum of 4 presenters per proposal - yourself and 3 others. All names and affiliations of presenters should be included in your submission to the best of your abilities. You can add additional presenters at the end of your proposal, before you submit. You can also add additional speakers in the CFP Service Center after you submit, through Mon, Oct 19, 2026 @ 11:59 pm PST. If selected, sessions will not receive final approval until the full team for your proposed session is confirmed and committed to the event. Additional presenters submitted after the proposal team has been accepted and approved will not receive compensation or free registration to our 2027 Summit.
Compensation: Accepted proposals will receive $150 per presenter (max 4) and a complimentary registration to the 2027 Summit as compensation for their contribution (up to a $2100 value). We will not reimburse the cost of materials for teams producing sessions. Please contact us for special requests. No travel expenses are able to be covered.
Review Panel: Your proposals will be reviewed by our staff and leadership for clarity, impact, feasibility, and relevance in relation to our Summit theme for the year. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee inclusion in the conference.

Our framework is offered as a guide, not a limitation. We encourage you to think boldly and outside of the box—expanding on, reimagining, or even challenging how we approach these topics at this critical moment. Proposals that stretch our collective imagination, introduce new perspectives, or offer unexpected connections are especially welcome.
