Get ready to rev your engines and show off your racing skills! The CITE Conference Grand Prix is coming to CITE 2026!
Join fellow CITE Conference attendees for a high-speed, banana-slinging, shell-throwing showdown on the Mario Kart tracks you know and love. Whether you're a seasoned racer or a first-time driver, this tournament is your chance to take home bragging rights, prizes, and pure gaming glory.

Anaheim Convention Center — Exhibit Hall C
Wednesday, November 18 — 9:00AM-2:30PM
Grand Prize: $150 Amazon Gift Card
Second Place Prize: $50 Amazon Gift Card
Third Place Prize: Swag from CITE Store
Participants limited to 32 players.
Please arrive on time and be ready when your group is called.
Tournament will be played on Mario Kart 8 (Nintendo Switch 1) using JoyCon Controllers.
After each set of 4 races, put your controller down immediately so staff can record results.
Respect the staff, other players, and the equipment at all times.
Tournament Structure
32 players, Four Stages, One Grand Prix Champion.
Round of 32
- 32 players divided into 8 heats of 4
- Each heat races 4 random tracks (1 set)
- Controllers down after the set — staff records scores
- Top 2 finishers from each heat advance to the Sweet 16
Round of 16
- 16 players divided into 4 races of 4
- Each race runs 4 random tracks (1 set)
- Top 2 finishers from each race advance to the Elite 8
Round of 8
- 8 players divided into 2 races of 4
- Each race runs 4 random tracks (1 set)
- Top 2 finishers from each race advance to the Grand Final
Grand Final
4 players compete head-to-head in one final set of 4 random tracks. Winner takes the Grand Prize.
Tie-breaker: If there is a tie for the final advancing spot in any heat or race, tied players race 1 match on Baby Park. The winner advances.
