Sim Gaming Expo Attendee Code of Conduct
Welcome to the Sim Gaming Expo! We’re thrilled to have you with us as we celebrate the world of simulation gaming. To ensure a memorable experience for everyone, we’ve established the following Code of Conduct. Please read and follow these guidelines during your time at the expo:
1. Be Respectful to Others
Respectful Interaction: Treat fellow attendees, vendors, staff, and volunteers with respect at all times. Avoid disruptive behavior and/or offensive language.
2. Respect the Venue
Cleanliness: Keep the convention center clean and dispose of trash in designated bins. Do not litter or damage the venue’s property.
Designated Areas: Follow all venue rules and regulations, including those related to food and drink. Stay within designated areas and follow the directions of staff and volunteers.
3. Enjoy the Equipment Responsibly
Equipment Care: Our vendors and sponsors have brought their best equipment for you to enjoy. Please handle all gear, displays, and tech with care. This applies to all vendor, gaming, seminar, and esports areas.
4. Badge and Entry Guidelines
Badge Usage Policy: Wear your attendee badge or wristband at all times. Follow all entry and exit procedures as directed by staff and volunteers. Attendee badges are for the exclusive use of the individual whose name appears on the badge. Badges are non-transferable and cannot be shared with others.
Personal Responsibility and Liability: By entering the premises, attendees and their guests fully understand that Sim Gaming Expo and its staff, organizers, and volunteers are not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal property nor are they liable for any personal injuries of any kind.
5. Photography and Media
Consent for Media: By attending the Sim Gaming Expo, you understand and consent to the possibility of your image, likeness, or voice being captured in photos, videos, or other media, which may be used for advertising, publicity, or promotional purposes on the expo's website, social channels, and other media platforms.
6. Reporting Issues
Speak Up: If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, report it to a staff member or volunteer immediately. We are here to help ensure a positive experience for everyone.
7. Consequences for Violations
Enforcement: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, removal from the event, or a ban from future events. The expo organizers reserve the right to determine the appropriate response to any violations.
