Community Event: Adaptive Toy Workshop

Join us for a hands-on community workshop, hosted in conjunction with Switched Adapted Toys, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, designed for therapists, families, and caregivers who want to learn how to adapt toys for switch accessibility! Participants will learn practical skills for modifying toys to be operated with adaptive switches, opening up new opportunities for play and independence for children with disabilities.

Each participant will select and purchase one toy from the Wish List to adapt during the workshop. Materials to assemble their own 3D-printed switch will be provided, and you will take both home at the end of the session, ready to play!

To join us:
1. Sign up here to register for the community event and reserve your spot.
2. Select and pay for the toy you'd like to adapt and take home by visiting the Walmart Wish List or Amazon Wish List. There are 2 toys from Walmart and 2 toys from Amazon for you to choose from. Toys will be shipped to St. Louis and ready for you at the event.

Space is limited, so be sure to register early. We can't wait to build with you!
