ACPMP Travel Awards
Through the generosity of ACPMP (Appendix Cancer/Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Research Foundation), SSO is offering travel awards to the following abstract presenters. These abstracts received the highest scoring in the content/research areas of appendix cancer, pseudomyxoma peritonei, peritoneal surface malignancies/peritoneal carcinomatosis, and/or HIPEC.
Award winner announcements will take place during the ACT 2025 Meet the Professors Reception. Award recipients can pick up their award certificate at the ACPMP booth.

Young Investigator Award-Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP)
Supported by a grant from ACPMP
The Society of Surgical Oncology Young Investigator Award promotes and recognizes clinical and translational research that advances innovative ideas and concepts designed to improve health outcomes through advances in the delivery of cancer-related care.
Through the generous support of the Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei Research Foundation (ACPMP), SSO was able to offer a topic specific grant this year for a proposal related to appendiceal mucinous neoplasms, appendiceal adencarcinomas (including signet ring cell adenocarcinoma and goblet cell adenocarcinoma) and/or PMP of appendiceal origin; with a special interest in proposals that embrace moving this rare malignant tumor type forward to curative science.
