Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Requests must be submitted by email to meetings@cmaanet.org. CMAA will refund registration and ticket purchases, less a $75 processing fee, upon written request received not later than March 1. Due to CMAA’s obligations to guarantee meals and other expenses made on your behalf, no refunds of registrations or ticket purchases will be made after that date. Credits will not be held for application toward future conference fees. Name substitutions can be made at any time and must also be submitted in writing. Once a final reconciliation of conference finances is completed, refunds will be processed and issued.
 

Enhanced Safety and Health Measures Policies

CMAA places the highest priority on the safety of our guests. We will follow any safety guidelines and advisements for meetings as outlined by the CDC and state and local mandates.


Attendance at or participation in CMAA Focus24 is subject to to the policies and release below, and compliance with CMAA and the conference and event facilities' policies and procedures to implement current CDC and applicable state's recommendations.


Release:

I understand and assume all risks of contracting COVID-19 or other communicable disease at the Event, including risk of serious illness, injury, or death. In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Event, on behalf of myself, my family, heirs, and personal representatives, I hereby forever release, waive, and hold harmless and waive my right to bring suit against CMAA and its officers, directors, employees, members, volunteers, representatives, and agents in connection with any exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 or other communicable disease, and the effects thereof, including serious illness, injury, and death, related to my participation in the Event. I understand that this Release includes waiving the right to bring a claim based in negligence, including for any and all liability, injury, damage, loss, or expense that may arise, directly or indirectly, now or in the future, in connection with my attendance in the Event. If any term of this Release is found to be illegal or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining portions shall not be affected thereby.


Privacy Policy

CMAA provides pre- and post-show attendee lists to our sponsors as a benefit of their support. The following attendee information is provided: name, title, company and mailing address. Phone numbers and email addresses are never shared.
 

Prohibited Conduct Policy

CMAA wishes to create a welcoming environment for events and conferences, including those that are solely online/virtual. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1) harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected status, as provided by local, state or federal law; 2) sexual harassment, including unwelcome attention, stalking and physical contact; 3) abusive conduct that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with another person's ability to enjoy or participate in the event, and 4) undue interruption of any event, speaker or session.
Any person who has been subjected to prohibited conduct or who has witnessed such conduct is encouraged to notify a CMAA staff member. CMAA reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in response to such conduct by any person, including removal of that person from the event, prohibiting attendance at future events, and suspension of membership.


Photograph Release

By registering, you grant CMAA permission use of any photographs that may be incidentally taken of you by CMAA during these events, for any purpose.
