Thank you for your interest in attending the NALEO Policy Institute: STEM Education & Equipping the Next Generation of Latino Innovators. This two-day Institute seeks to engage Latino elected and appointed education policymakers in a timely national conversation that aims to address the state of education today from a STEM perspective. The Institute will include curriculum that covers:

- STEM Foundation Blocks: Math and Science Standards
- Expanding the STEM Model: Deeper Integration of Computer Science in K-12 Education Systems
- Supporting Educators in K-12 STEM Education
- Importance of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM)
- School Boards Role in Ensuring Student Success
- Understanding Student Barriers and Supports in STEM Education
- STEM P3 Partnerships: Workforce Development Pathways and Opportunities
While attending this Institute, NALEO Members will have the opportunity to share model initiatives and best practices on STEM issues as well as developing strategic partnerships with elected officials from across the country.
