In this presentation, Dr. Andrews will share her professional and personal journey as a disabled woman in the field of rehabilitation and neuropsychology, emphasizing the pivotal moments that shaped her approach to disability. Drawing on her clinical experience in rehabilitation and research on disability identity and cultural competence, she will explore the evolution of her perspective from traditional neuropsychology and rehabilitation models to a more inclusive, rights-based approach.

The presentation will highlight key areas of Dr. Andrews' work, including the importance of disability inclusion in psychology training, the integration of cultural competence in clinical practice, and the promotion of sexual and reproductive rights for people with disabilities.
