You do not need to be a member of SSO in order to attend the meeting, though members do receive reduced registration fees. |

Yes, select session recordings will be made available post conference for all registered attendees to view. OnDemand recording content can be purchased for any individual who did not register and attend the SSO 2025 Annual Meeting. |

Yes, there are optional courses available for registration designed to benefit members of the Society and SSO 2025 attendees with an emphasis practical information for the practicing surgeon. Further information regarding SSO 2025 Pre-Meeting Course can be found HERE. |

Yes, Spouse/Guest registration is available for purchase through the registration form. The rate of $150 includes Wednesday Welcome Reception, Thursday Happy Hour and SSO HUB access. Spouse/Guest registration is restricted to networking and social events only and is not to be used as full conference registration. Spouse/Guest registration does not have access to scientific sessions. |

All cancellations must be sent via email to ssoannualmeeting@surgonc.org. There will be a $75 fee for cancellations received on or before January 16, 2025. For cancellations received between January 17 and March 5, 2025, a 50% cancellation charge will apply. No cancellations will be refunded beginning March 6, 2025.
If you have a serious reason for being unable to attend, you are welcome to petition for an exception to this policy. To do so, please email SSO at ssoannualmeeting@surgonc.org to explain your situation and include any documentation to support your case (documentation is optional but recommended). These petitions must be submitted by Friday, April 18, 2025 (15 business days post meeting) to be considered, and the decision regarding your petition may take up to one month after the event. |

Yes, if you are not a U.S. citizen and are planning to attend SSO 2024, advance planning is critical. Citizens of some foreign countries will need a visa to enter the United States and attend SSO 2024. |

Image Release
By registering for this event, I consent and authorize SSO to copyright, use and publish any of the images or recordings in any format taken of me during any SSO event. I understand these images may be used for a variety of purposes and may appear on the SSO website, in SSO publications, promotional materials, or any other media now known or to be invented. I agree that SSO will not be responsible for unauthorized use of the images or recordings. I am aware that I am not entitled to any compensation and that the images may appear with or without my name. I also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or recording taken by SSO or the person or entity designated to do so by SSO.
Consent to 3rd Parties
For nearly a decade, SSO and other organizations have shared conference registration information with exhibitors and industry supporters (excluding email address and fax number). ACCME now requires attendee consent. By checking the following box, you are giving SSO consent to share your name and contact information, including institution, mailing address with any ineligible companies or its agents associated with the SSO Meeting. Ineligible companies are those that cannot be accredited by the ACCME.

For safety reasons, children under age of 12 (including infants in carriers and strollers, or hand-carried infants and toddlers) are not permitted in the meeting space, educational sessions or SSO HUB. |

SSO is pleased to offer a great selection of hotels near the Tampa Convention Center. Meeting registration MUST be completed in order to securing housing for the Annual Meeting. Direct booking links will be provided in your confirmation email upon completion of your registration. |

The Tampa International Airport is nine miles from downtown Tampa. The approximate cost is $40 one way. Taxi and Ride App options are readily accessible. Taxi service is available at the curbside outside the baggage claim level at the ground transportation areas, Red 1 and Blue 2. Ride App pickup is available at Red baggage claim and the Blue Express curbside. |

Trained staff will be available to assist with audiovisual needs in the Speaker Ready Room located in Room 101 at the Tampa Convention Center. Course, symposia, and abstract presentations speakers may upload and edit their presentations here. |

All presentations must be uploaded to your speaker portal. Only presenters have the ability to upload presentations.
Presentation upload will be opened prior to the SSO Annual Meeting from January 27 - March 17 in your Speaker Portal. Presentations will be available to view/update onsite in the Speaker Ready Room. |
