AMEC Sponsored Receptions

Sponsored receptions are an AMEC tradition, offering recruiters an opportunity to connect with attendees in a more personal and engaging setting. These 90-minute events allow participating institutions and organizations to showcase their culture, highlight career opportunities, and build meaningful relationships with future physicians.

Each reception can be tailored to the sponsoring organization's recruitment goals, creating a welcoming environment for conversations, networking, and professional connections.

During their 90-minute reception, sponsors may incorporate the following elements:

Branding & Visibility

• Branded tablecloths, banners, and signage
• Recruitment flyers, job descriptions, and program overviews
• Business cards and QR codes linking to additional information
• Branded pens, notebooks, stickers, and promotional materials
• Tabletop presentations and informational displays

Technology

• Laptops or tablets for applications and recruitment inquiries
• Chargers and power strips
• Wi-Fi access or personal hotspots
• Presentation slides, videos, or other digital content

Candidate Experience Materials

• Benefits, workplace culture, and program summaries
• Informational materials attendees can take home
• Giveaways and interactive engagement activities
• Light snacks and refreshments
• Branded gifts and promotional items
• Prize drawings and giveaway items

Sponsored Reception Fee - $1,500

The sponsored reception fee includes exclusive event space, an official AMEC program listing, and room signage.

Important Details:

• Purchase of an exhibit booth is required to host a sponsored reception.
• The $1,500 sponsored event fee is waived for Diamond and Platinum sponsors.
• The sponsoring organization is responsible for all audiovisual (AV), food, and beverage costs associated with its reception.
• Reception reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by SNMA.
