Welcome to the 2025 AWP Conference & Bookfair! Please find all registration rates and periods below.All conference registrations must be purchased online or on-site with a credit or debit card. We do not accept checks or cash. All registrations are final and nonrefundable. If you are uncertain whether you will attend the conference in person, please wait to purchase.
Presenters on accepted events should register in the Speaker Service Center.
Registration Rates & Periods
Individual In-Person Registration Rates
An in-person registration to #AWP25 includes admission to all events, readings, panel discussions, meetings, the bookfair, and public receptions over the days of the conference, as well as all virtual programming and content. Meals, lodging, and travel are not included. Please see our local travel page for more information about conference hotels and other local resources. *Students who have not purchased a student registration to a previous conference can reach out to registration@awpwriter.org to update their graduation date to access the discounted rate.
**The Saturday pass can be purchased online beginning early 2025 or on-site on Saturday, March 29, 2025, and includes admission to all conference events (except private receptions), as well as the bookfair. Saturday-only registrants will not have access to virtual programming.
Virtual-Only Registration Rates
Virtual-only registration includes access to prerecorded virtual events, as well as a limited number of select events streaming live from the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Presenter Registration Rates
Presenter registration includes admission to all events, readings, panel discussions, meetings, the bookfair, and public receptions over the days of the conference, as well as all virtual programming and content. Presenters must be linked to an accepted event to be eligible for the discounted rate. Meals, lodging, and travel are not included.Presenters on accepted events should register in the Speaker Service Center.

*Virtual presenters who do not wish to attend the conference outside of presenting on their prerecorded panel are not required to purchase a registration.
**Presenters are eligible for a discounted $49 one-year membership with AWP if purchased as a bundle with their registration. If your membership has not yet expired, the one-year membership included in the bundle will begin the day after your current membership lapses.
