2025 Visual Cues

Please find photos and visual cues for the Los Angeles Convention Center. All of AWP’s sessions and the bookfair will take place in this building.

The main entry for AWP will be 1201 S Figueroa Street.

#AWP25 will take place on the west side of the building and there is no specific address for this entrance. If you are being dropped off by car using a rideshare service, enter the main address, and tell the driver to drop you off at 12th Street & Figueroa entrance or the entrance nearest Crypto.com Arena. This will get you dropped off nearest the main west side entrance.

When you take the stairs, escalator, or elevator up to the main lobby level, there is a hallway that leads to the registration area in the West Lobby and the bookfair in West Hall A.

The West Lobby entrance and many hallways in the Los Angeles Convention Center include large windows exposing these spaces to a lot of natural light.

Once you are at the top of the initial stairs or escalators, to the left is another set of escalators to Level Two, where many of the meeting rooms are located. If you proceed down the Level One hallway depicted here, it will lead to the business center and the Concourse meeting rooms. The elevator is also down the hallway pictured below to the left.

Down that hallway is the elevator to the left. There is signage on the wall hallway indicating an elevator. You can see an example of the signage used in the photo below.

Below is a photo of the West Hall Lobby. The stairs and escalators lead to Level Two of the Los Angeles Convention Center, where most meetings rooms are located. To the right of the stairs and escalators will be where the registration area, Help Desk, and Accessibility Services Desk are located. Directly behind the stairs and escalators is West Hall A, where the bookfair will be located. The elevator to access Level Two is to the right of the escalators and stairs toward the bookfair entrance.

The West Hall Lobby is a spacious room with two sets of escalators in the middle. Registration, the Help Desk, and Accessibility Services will be along the righthand wall.

In the West Lobby where registration is located and in all meeting room hallways in the Los Angeles Convention Center, there is a low pile carpet, pictured below.

There are two hallways in the Los Angeles Convention Center that include an incline. The first is on Level One going from the West Lobby entrance along the concourse to the business center, pictured below. The incline is approximately two hundred feet and will be marked by signage.

If you would like to avoid this incline, we recommend using the adjacent hallway next to the Concourse meeting rooms and using one of the wheelchair lifts to access the elevated hallway after the incline. Pictured below is one of the wheelchair lifts available for use.

The other hallway with an incline/decline is located on Level Two between the 400 and 500 meeting rooms, pictured below. The slope is approximately two hundred feet and will be marked by signage.

If you would like to avoid this incline pictured below, we recommend that, if you want to access the 500 meeting rooms from Level One, you take the elevator or escalator nearest the bookfair entrance. If you want to access the 400 level meeting rooms from Level One, take the elevator or escalator nearest the West Lobby entrance. If you need to move directly between the 400 and 500 meeting rooms, we recommend taking the elevator or escalators down to Level One, navigating to the appropriate escalators or elevators, and taking them back up to Level Two.
